Hello, my name is Cem Yucesoy. I’m an experienced TV fixer based in Turkey.
I’ve been working in the travel business for the past 30 years, organising tours, flights, car rentals, gulet cruises, and tailor made holidays for individual travellers as well as small groups. I am the principal location manager and tour guide for Peter Sommer Travels, a British tour operator specialising in expert led Turkey tours and gulet cruises. I speak fluent English and have worked for a wide range of British and American companies and organisations.
My first job as a Turkey fixer for television dates back some 23 years to 1996, and it turned out to be a huge and exciting challenge. I didn’t quite realise at first how significant a series it was I had been asked to work on, but the landmark BBC/PBS documentary In The Footsteps Of Alexander The Great, completely changed my career ambitions. Presented by the well known historian, Michael Wood, and shot by the award-winning director, David Wallace, it was the ultimate training ground for a first time fixer.

Since that time I have worked as a Turkey fixer and location manager on documentaries for some of the finest TV production companies in the UK and US, including the BBC, Lion TV, Atlantic Productions, Cafe, Diverse, Maya Vision etc.
The programs I have fixed for have been broadcast on BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Five in the UK, and PBS, Readers’ Digest, National Geographic and the Discovery Channel in the US. Click here for a detailed list of my filming in Turkey & credits.
If you are planning to shoot a documentary in Turkey, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I can help recommend locations and storylines, and of course coordinate all the usual basic transport and accommodation logistics. I will be delighted to assist with all your filming needs, from initial research and recce to shooting and post-production.
